This is a Chili-Con-Carne recipe for a crockpot that you will find is quick, simple and easy to do and tastes as good as anything you would buy in a restaurant. It will serve 4-5 people. The preparation time is around 20 minutes and quicker if you can chop quickly.

Nalley has long been one of my favorite brand of chili, and I recently purchased their Big Chunk No Beans chili con carne, and was very pleased with the flavor and texture.

The first thing that stood out in my mind, was the hostess who saw us get out of our car, and was standing with a co-worker, holding both the inner and outer glass doors open for us. We were ushered into a warm, earth-toned seating area, with stone tiled floors and homey atmosphere. The wall above our comfortable leather booth was adorned with wood and stone modernistic artwork. The wall across from us contained a back lit water fall, drops cascading over waves in the dark wood of the inset decoration.

The slow cooking process allows for the use of cheaper cuts of meat. Normally some cooks try to avoid those sinewy, fattier, coarser cuts of meat but for the particular method of cooking used it is an advantage. The sinews break down over the long cooking time and impart a fabulous texture to the dish and a depth of flavour that is most delectable.

One drawback, perhaps a big drawback, is I did not see a public restroom anywhere. As I stated before, the restaurant is really small so perhaps no room for one. It is quite odd not having chilli con carne gordon ramsay a restroom available.

Now, we want to base our menus on the least expensive. In New England, where I live, I would find the least expensive to be ordinary sliced bread or a variety of potato, with home prepared chicken, or slow cooker chili uk, or pork. Obviously, it all changes from week to week as supermarkets and grocery stores have sales.

Merrymoor Inn is the primary pub in Mawgan Porth and is located near the beach. It is well known in the area for serving high quality traditional English pub food with large portions. Only the freshest local produce is used in their homemade dishes keeping true to the Cornish heritage. Their extensive menu appeals to everybody. The dishes you must try include the popular homemade steak and ale pie or the Sharpes beer battered cod and chips. Friday night is Fish Specials Night and you must reserve Sunday for the Sunday Carvery. You get new dishes on the Specials Board which is changed every day. Pair it with the best world wines served by glass or by the bottle as well as the local ales.

It may be time to kick the fast food habit and start a new slow cooked habit. Just think of that for a minute. You put the ingredients in your crockpot in the morning and turn it on. There! You're done with dinner! And it took less time than rushing to the fast food place after work. And the final result is a well balanced meal that saved you a whole lot of time and money.
